The Thornbridge Hall Country House Brewery is a collaboration of passion, vision and great beer making skills.

Our brewery is based in a converted joiner's and stonemason’s workshop within the grounds of Thornbridge Hall, near Bakewell in Derbyshire. The brewery opened in October 2004 with the aim of making a small range of quality cask and bottled beers using new recipes, innovative approaches and the use of local fresh ingredients.

The first year of brewing has seen considerable success with our Jaipur IPA (5.9 abv) winning CAMRA Sheffield’s Champion Beer Award (September 2005) and achieving Gold Medal in the Strong Ale Midland Beer Competition (October 2006). All our beers are available in pubs around the region and have received critical acclaim, recently being served at The House of Commons.
